If you're anything like me, you love a good heist mission, and "Breakout" in Star Wars Outlaws delivers in spades. It's 2026, and this game still has me coming back for the sheer thrill of pulling off one of the biggest jobs in the galaxy. I've lost count of how many times I've run this quest, so I'm dropping my complete walkthrough—straight from a pro gamer's playbook. Whether you're a stealth purist or you like to go gung-ho blasting everything that moves, I've got you covered. So grab your Blaster, call your buddy Nix, and let's spring Ank from that Weapons Factory. Trust me, it's gonna be a wild ride.

Getting Started: Meeting Qi’ra and Reaching the Weapons Factory

The mission kicks off right after you wrap up The Safecracker. You'll find Kay having a chinwag with Qi’ra, who gives you the lowdown on Ank's whereabouts—she's holed up in a Weapons Factory just beyond the Roadway Gate. First things first: follow that waypoint like a homing beacon. Hop on your Speeder outside the gate and hit the open highway. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, but don't zone out—keep your eyes peeled for a narrow gap on the side of the wall. Squeeze through it to get into the restricted area. It's a tight fit, but Nix gives you a reassuring chirp, so you know you're on the right track.

Pro tip: Take a moment to soak in the environment. The level design is stunning, and there are often hidden collectibles near these entry points if you're a completionist.

Infiltrating the Base: Stealth and Sabotage

Once you're inside, you'll need to channel your inner ghost. Follow the path to the left and use your grappling hook to zip onto the elevated platform ahead. As soon as you land, you'll spot a Droid on your left—shock it fast with your Blaster's electric rounds. No dilly-dallying. Then, shimmy up those yellow pipes on the back wall. They lead to a series of massive fans that cycle on and off. Timing is everything here: wait until a fan stops spinning, then jump on and scramble across before it kicks back into gear. Drop onto the catwalk below, and you'll be face-to-face with a guard. Sneak up behind them and take them out silently. No alarms, no fuss.

Now, quickly glance to your right. There's a lone guard on the other catwalk—stun them with your Blaster before they can react. Keep moving forward, and you'll encounter a wall-mounted turret. You can either time your movements to slip past or, my personal favorite, zap it with a charged shot to send it to the scrap heap. Once it's scrap metal, head right and follow the path to an orange door. Use the keycard Qi’ra gave you—it's your golden ticket—and proceed inside. So far, so good, right? Piece of cake.

Finding Ank in the Heart of the Factory

Beyond the orange door, look for a yellow grate and start climbing. It feels like a bit of a maze, but just keep going up until you see a hole you can drop through. That’ll take you deeper into the belly of the beast. Push ahead until you spot a guard leaning against a box—sneak up, take them out, and then move right to find a large window. Peer through it, and there she is: Ank, sitting at a table, looking like she’s waiting for a dinner date. Not quite, but you're close.

You're still in a dark-as-pitch room, so look for a stack of boxes to climb. It's darker than a Sarlacc pit in here, but your eyes will adjust. Scale the boxes, then latch onto the oddly textured wall on the left. Shimmy sideways and drop down onto the lower area. Keep following the path until you reach a constantly spinning fan. Direct Nix to hit the switch across the gap, and the fan will stop dead. Drop under the blades and into the room with Ank, triggering a cutscene. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy.

Securing the Lucky Charm from the Locker Room

After the chat, Ank asks a small favor: retrieve her Lucky Charm from the locker room. No biggie, right? Exit her cell and follow the path into the next room, where you'll find a handful of guards. Here's the fun part—you don't have to worry about stealth anymore. We're going loud, baby! Unleash hell with your Blaster, taking them out in quick succession. There's a Droid among them, so switch to those electric rounds to fry it faster than you can say "bantha poodoo."

Once the room is clear, head to the right and use your Data Spike on the large green door. Inside, deal with the lone guard and snag the Lucky Charm. The moment you grab it, Ank sets off a controlled explosion, and suddenly it's time to vamoose. When I first played this, my heart was pounding—such a rush!

The Great Escape: Helping Ank Get Out

Chaos erupts after the explosion. Exit the locker room, drop down the hatch, and squeeze through a hole in the wall. It's literally a tight squeeze, but Kay's used to this kind of trouble. Ahead, you'll see a crate on an elevated conveyor belt. Turn around and shock the generator behind you to get the belt moving. Grab onto the next crate and ride it like a boss to the next area. This part makes you feel like a total scoundrel—I love it.

Drop off and start blasting the guards. Clean them out, then rappel down to the platform below. Another wave of guards will be waiting across from you—dispatch them, then use your grappling hook to swing over the large gap. Scale the grate, and you're into the next section. Almost there!

Turning Off the Energy Barrier

Push forward and you'll encounter two guards on a platform above you. Make quick work of them. Just ahead, Ank's escape route is blocked by a pesky energy barrier. To bring it down, look for a large, orange-ish boulder across the way. Switch to the Power Module on your Blaster (hold Y or Triangle), charge it up, and blow that rock to smithereens. Behind it, there's a generator—shoot it to cause a satisfying explosion. Then, look to the right for a closed shutter. Send Nix to open it, and blast the exposed generator inside. With that, the energy barrier deactivates, and Ank is free to move. Now we're cooking with gas!

Final Showdown and Escape

Now, keep pushing until you spot a group of guards. There are some conveniently placed explosive barrels—shoot them to clear out most of the enemies, then mop up any survivors. Follow the path to a lift and ride it up. You'll see guards marching up a staircase; eliminate them and head down the stairs they came from. Continue forward, engaging more enemies until you're just feet away from Ank. Clear the last few guards, then have a chat with her. She thanks you but mentions she won't join the crew just yet—classic Ank, playing hard to get. From there, simply follow the path out of the base, squeezing through one final hole in the wall to escape the Weapons Facility. Quest complete! You've just pulled off one of the slickest prison breaks in the Outer Rim.

This mission is a perfect blend of stealth, action, and set-piece moments. If you're gunning for maximum immersion, I recommend sticking mostly to stealth when possible—it really cranks up the tension. But when the gloves come off, don't hold back. With a bit of practice, you'll breeze through Breakout like a true outlaw legend. GG, and may the credits be ever in your favor.
